We were six friends from high school, that wanted to go on a roadtrip in the US. In 2 months we went from snow in the cities up North, down to the warm beaches in Miami, then through the deserted cities of the deep South and through the never ending Texas. Then it was time for camping by the beautiful Gran Canyon before we hit Route 66 all the way to the East Coast.  Yes, we did have our troubles on the way, but after 13.500 km with stops in 12 different states, we made it to our final destination; San Francisco.
